I have been biting my tongue.. hard! As this news has been under embargo, but finally I can share that I have been awarded with the Most Valuable Professional status by Sitecore! With this status, I am one of only 26 people worldwide and one of the 3 in the Netherlands to be named a Sitecore Digital Strategist MVP for 2015.
A personal title that I am very proud of, but one that couldn’t be achieved without the beliefs and support of the people that I work with at digital agency Redhotminute and all clients that trust me with their hard choices on a daily basis. Also my graditude goes to Sitecore Netherlands for looking beyond the obvious and awarding me with this honor.
Now it it’s nineth year, Sitecore’s MVP program recognizes individual digital strategy and technology advocates who share their Sitecore passion and expertise to offer positive customer experiences that drive business results. The Sitecore Digital Strategist MVP Award recognizes individuals with strong experience in executing data driven marketing solutions and proven success in using Sitecore’s experience platform to deliver exceptional business outcomes for customers.
I have been awarded for my contribution on the award-winning Pan-European online platform of Kia Motors Europe for over 7 years, the brand new online platform of Landal GreenParks (part of Wyndham Vacation Rentals), the the award-winning North Sea Jazz Festival website, the Azure hosted CRMPartners website, the Amsterdam RAI online platform, Amsterdam Light Festival and the award winning racing.com. Also, I try to share my experiences and knowledge of Sitecore actively through this blog, LinkedIn, Twitter and participation at the Sitecore User Group Netherlands.
Being a CMS specialist working with Sitecore since 2007, I have been both consulting and implementing Sitecore mainly from a content management perspective and marketing requirements. I consult both colleagues internally or clients externally for optimal Sitecore integrations and having the best possible outcome through a proper strategy. Taught as a interaction designer I learned my first professional steps in content management. I always knew what I wanted, but the content management systems always blocked my way getting there.
With Sitecore I have been able to completely tailor the software integration on the content needs, the marketing goals, the editors’ level of experience and knowledge and the requirements of brand, product and organization.
